Answer by SamYaple for have IP address assigned to the VM, but I am not able to ping the VM form the DHCP Agent and Router namespace for that particular subnet. [This is a good document](http://docs.openstack.org/trunk/openstack-ops/content/network_troubleshooting.html) to try to figure out these kinds of issues. For me to help, I will need you to explain a bit more about your setup. Are you using nova-network or neutron? Do other instances get IPs, just not this one? What things have you already checked?
